Capital Area Parkinson's Society

November 2022

Please welcome our two newest volunteers!

With CAPS being a fully volunteer-led nonprofit organization, we rely heavily on our all-volunteer board of directors and community members who donate their time. These incredible people help us maintain our monthly support group meetings, member social events, and our CAPS Cares program which provides completely free resource assistance and financial aid to people with Parkinson’s and those caring for them. We are so proud to introduce two of our amazing volunteers to you!

Lindsey Dalrymple is the Senior Director of Technical Services at American Campus Communities. American Campus Communities is the nation’s largest developer, owner and manager of high-quality student housing communities. At American Campus Communities, Lindsey oversees the Technical Services team which is responsible for the wifi service for over 200 properties on or near 93 college campuses. In her spare time, Lindsey enjoys cooking for family and friends. Lindsey lives in north Austin with her husband, three kids and brittany spaniel. You'll likely get to meet Lindsey in person at one of our support group meetings or at our twice-monthly Shake Shack social get together.

Kassidy Watson is a recruiting professional based out of Austin, excited to be helping with the General Marketing of the Capital Area Parkinson's Society! When Kassidy is not working, you can usually find her on a patio with some queso, or at Zilker with her family. Traveling, trying new foods, and meeting new people are also some of her favorite things to do - especially when she gets to do them all at the same time. She'll be managing our monthly e-newsletter and blog, so if ever you have an article or event that you feel might be helpful to our PD community, please share with her by emailing [email protected]!
